Easy to use

Content Mapper has specifically been designed to make it as easy as possible to create and edit XML content for casual or experienced Word users. From a highly simplified user interface to inserting standard content components and templates, everything is designed to make it easy.

Easy to deploy and manage

Content Mapper is built on a combination of smart, Word-based clients connected to a standard Web service. This standards-based architecture makes it very easy to

• deploy the solution
• manage and maintain client configurations, and
• combine Content Mapper with the enterprise IT architecture in a flexible way.

Integration with XML information standards

Content Mapper can be configured to support any XML information standard. Currently, the following standards have been implemented using Content Mapper:

• MOM (the Information Mapping XML Standard)
• DITA (the OASIS-backed, topic oriented standard)
• DocBook (the OASIS book/publishing standard)
