What are customized seminars?

Customized Seminars are seminars that tailor the training delivery of the Information Mapping method to the specific documentation needs of a client.

Elements of customized seminars

Customized seminars can include any or all of the following elements:

• client documents used as
  • Before and After example in the seminar's "Time Test"
  • examples and exercises throughout the seminar
  • a Case Study which participants work on during the seminar
• focus on a specific document type (business case, briefing notes, sales proposal, etc.) throughout the seminar, or
• focus on a particular aspect of applying the Information Mapping method, such as reinforcement of the method for those who have already taken a seminar.

How customized seminars work

Information Mapping Canada works with any client who requires a customized seminar to

• define the specific training needs
• work client content into the training materials, or
• deliver the seminar with references to specific client situations and materials.
